Kuami Eugene beats Sarkodie and others to win VGMA Artist of the year 2020

Lynx Entertainment Artist, Kuami Eugene has made history as the youngest musician to ever win the Artist of the Year at VGMA 2020.

The highlife singer beats the likes of Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata and others to emerge as the ultimate Artist of the year for the 21st VGMA.

Kuami Eugene, 23, on Saturday, during VGMA’s Day 2 show at the Grande Arena also won the Highlife Artist of the year for 3 consecutive times.

For his congratulatory remarks, Eugene Marfo use the opportunity to appreciate the help of his manager and boss, Richie Mensah – CEO of Lynx, his mom and fans for the love they have shown him over the years.

However, Sarkodie’s fans as well as people who routed for Kofi Kinaata were left in shock after Eugene was announced as the winner of the most competitive category for the night.

Meanwhile, celebrities, industry folks and fans have congratulated the singer for the biggest feet he has attained in his career.

VGMA is Ghana’s most watched and highly patronized Awards show since it’s inception in 1999 by Charterhouse. Charterhouse is a leading event production firm in Ghana, owned by Multiple Concept Group. Multiple Concept Group has other operations in Nigeria.
