Eastern Region records 2 new Coronavirus cases after Lockdown

The Akuapem North Municipality in the Eastern region has recorded two positive coronavirus cases, according to Municipal Public Health Emergency Committee Chairman Dennis Miracles Aboagye.

He explained that, the first patient is a 59-year-old woman who returned to the country on 20th March, 2020 and resides at Amanokrom.

The second, also 45-year-old lady who returned to the country on 19th March 2020 and resides at Akropong. Both cases were imported.

Ghana has reported over 1,000 coronavirus cases since its first case in February.
